Strawberry Chia Seed Jam

I LOVE jam, but I hate buying it at the grocery store. There are so many ingredients that are unnecessary and unhealthy.
This jam is just 4 healthy ingredients:
– 1lb Strawberries (or any berry of your choice)
– 3 tbsp Chia Seeds
– 2 tbsp honey
– 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (or vanilla bean)

Chia Seed Jam Ingredients

Bring strawberries to a boil (if using fresh, add a little water). Simmer for a few minutes until soft. Mash with a potato masher and leave some small pieces.
Once mashed, add in other ingredients.

Mixed Chia Strawberry Jam

Once mixed well, let cool down to room temperature. After it is cooled down, pour into a mason jar and put in the fridge. Same consistency as store-bought jam, but tastes way better!
